What is Melasma?

Melasma is a patchy or generalized dark pigmentation of the skin. A tan discoloration of a woman’s face that is associated with pregnancy, oral contraceptive use, and exposure to the sun. Usually one can find these brown patches on the cheeks, upper lip, neck, chest, brow and forehead area.

Left untreated will get darker with time, and will make you look older. Very common in woman, you’re not alone.
